Magic Questions

Magic Questions are ready questions that a shopper can tap on a product page of your site, for example "Is it easy to clean the plates?". A tap opens your AI chat and sends the question together with the product name and SKU, so the AI answers about exactly that product. The shopper does not have to think what to ask, so more conversations start and the decision comes faster.

The questions are written by AI Magic Data. You choose the place on the product page, the look, and which questions to show. Everything lives in Site Settings → AI Assistant → Button & Style → Magic Questions.

How it works

1. While AI Magic Data processes a product, it writes questions for it. If a product was processed before the feature appeared and has no questions, add your own in the Questions window or run AI Magic Data for it again.
2. You choose where on the product page the questions appear (above or below a block of your page) and how they look.
3. A shopper opens a product and sees a few questions. A tap opens the chat and sends "question — product (SKU: id)". The AI answers about that product.

The questions also appear in the chat's product card as "You could also ask": four random enabled questions.

Requirement

The Looma widget code must be installed on your product pages. See Installation.

Which questions are written

AI Magic Data writes up to 10 questions per product, in the site language, from the product's description and characteristics.

• Only questions whose answer is in the product data.
• About benefit and use, not raw specs.
• Never about delivery, payment, price, discounts, availability, warranty or returns.
• Short: 2–6 words, up to 45 characters, without the product name, brand or model.

Editing a product's questions

In the Products list, click the Questions button next to Attributes on a product row. In the window you can:

• edit the text of a question;
• hide a question (disable it) without deleting it;
• delete a question;
• add your own, up to 10 in total.

Once you save the list, AI Magic Data no longer rewrites it. If you delete all the questions, AI Magic Data writes new ones on its next run. The window has a Settings link to the Magic Questions tab.

The Magic Questions tab

Each section of Button & Style has its own address that you can copy and send. The address of this one is /site/<site>?style=magic_questions#ai-assistant-style.

The tab shows:

• an animated preview on your own product: its photo, title, price and questions, and a click that opens the chat. The browser bar shows your domain. If no product has questions yet, the preview uses an example product with sample questions;
• Products with questions: N — how many products have questions;
• the Show Magic Questions switch. It is on by default and controls the questions both on the site and in the chat's product card;
• once a place is set, the Open product button in the preview opens that product page on your site.

Choosing the place

Click Choose a place on the site (or Change the place). Your product page opens full-screen inside the dashboard.

1. Use the desktop/mobile switch to see both layouts.
2. Move the mouse: the block under the cursor is highlighted. Click to select it.
3. Choose Above the block or Below the block.
4. Click Save the place.

The font, the dark text colour and the colour and rounding of the nearest real button of your shop (for example "Buy") are taken from the page automatically.

If the page does not open in the window

Some shops forbid being shown inside another page (Shopify and similar platforms, or security headers). Then the page opens in a separate tab in the same mode: click the block and use the toolbar — ↑ Above the block, ↓ Below the block, ✓ Done. The tab closes by itself and the dashboard saves the place.

The link Site looks different? Open it in a new tab is always there. If the styles or scripts of your shop fail to load inside the window, a warning offers the separate tab too.

Look of the questions

The Question look block appears once a place is set. A live preview follows every change.

Setting	Options
Colour	As on the site (the colour of your shop's button) or Own colour: a palette, a HEX code or one of 6 ready colours.
Shape	As on the site, Round, Rounded, Square.

The text of the questions always stays dark for readability.

Heading over the questions

Off by default. Turn on Heading over the questions to show a line above the chips.

• Icon — spark, chat bubble, question mark, sparkles, or none.
• Size — small, medium (default) or large.
• Text — your own text. Leave it empty and the ready text in the site language is used ("Ask Smart Assistant"). Variants offers ready phrases.

"Other question" button

Off by default. It adds a last chip, slightly highlighted. It opens the chat with an empty field, so the shopper types their own question.

Several languages

If the site is in several languages, leave the heading and button texts empty — they then follow the page language.

How many questions are shown

Questions on the product page — from 1 to 10, 4 by default. They are chosen at random among the enabled ones, so each visit shows a different set. The Other question button is not counted.

Cost

• Showing the questions on the site is free: no AI, no credits.
• A tap sends a normal chat message, so the AI answer costs like any chat answer.
• The questions are written as part of AI Magic Data processing, with no separate charge.

Good to know

• After you edit the questions, shoppers may see the old set for up to about 10 minutes (server cache).
• A shopper who already opened the product may keep the old set in their browser for up to 24 hours.
• If a product page that has questions lacks the chosen block (for example you changed your site design), the tab shows a warning like "place not found on N pages in 7 days, e.g. …". Choose the place again.

Common issues

• No questions on the page — check that the Show Magic Questions switch is on, the place is saved, the widget code is installed on product pages and the product has enabled questions.
• Questions sit in the wrong spot — click Change the place and choose another block.
• The page does not open in the window — use the separate tab described above.
• A product has no questions — run AI Magic Data for it, or add your own in the Questions window.
